Beautiful is nice. But it’s not everything. Yes, it creates a first impression that’s crucial for a website of any type – especially now, when even the smallest organizations need to set themselves apart from the competition. The reason that we can spend more time on design and still keep the sites affordable is that we build them on top of a pre-coded base. It’s kind of like the difference of making a car from scratch (very expensive), or buying the motor and frame, then spending a lot of time on creating a beautiful, functional interior and exterior. So we spend more time on what matters, and don’t have to spend as much time (or your money) on the programing component. Over our many years in business as The Calendar Factory, we’ve learned a thing or two about processes. See, if a calendar has one mistake (like a wrong date), then tens of thousands of people would know about it … for an entire year. So we learned to develop specific processes to solve many of the typical problems.

For example, the design and production process is made smooth and efficient by following an step-by-step process. We have about 80 steps that we follow, in order, each time we custom develop a Business Class website for a client. Only some of them involve the client — but by going through all of the steps each time, we assure a beautiful, correct website.

And mistakes are avoided by implementing a series of checklists at certain points. For example, before your website is posted live, we check the spelling, we compare what’s been done to the sitemap you’ve approved … and in some of our packages we even have an editor go through your site and check the grammar (where else will you find that at these prices?!?).

We also build the site on a pre-coded platform. This means that we know — before we begin — that the coding for your site is already perfect. We know the forms will work right, that your blog has all of the cool features you’d expect, and that the nitty-gritty details are handled … leaving more time for beautiful design.
